This last Saturday Oct 19 campus members of Mission Point NB and their friends went to the Southside Community Center and helped them with landscaping their facility – planting and weeding. The center gives free meals to people in need. They also offer temporary housing assistance. Those who are unhoused find help there as well. About 30 folks from Mission-Point showed up and pitched in. It was a great time of service for a wonderful community organization.

We began in 2013 when a few folks living along the I-35 corridor began to meet for Bible discussions. With the addition of some folks from the Mission Point church in San Antonio, we began to grow, and today we have about 160 people from New Braunfels, San Marcos, Schertz and northeast San Antonio. We meet on Sundays at the Comal Creek Elementary School (just opened in 2023) in New Braunfels.
