On Sunday Dec 8 one of our small group Bible Talks went to Corpus Christi to encourage the church there. Though some last minute medical and family issues kept several from going, we still had a wonderful visit. Dave Peterson gave the communion message, and Mike T gave the sermon. We had a small welcome dinner Saturday night, and a fellowship lunch before church on Sunday. The church service was very encouraging. Corpus Christi has grown to almost 50 members, and is entirely self supporting. Roughly 90 attend each week. Nate and Waldina Bigbee have lead the church for four years… it was planted by Richard and Sarah and a faithful team of disciples several years ago. We plan to keep up the encouragement visits for sure!
